Horses don't care about Covid Chaos, and neither do babies...Thank Goodness!
We have a new Jr. Member that arrived last month, and he is adorable! Congratulations to Katie and Daniel, and of course big brother Colton.
Smoke hit shortly after and it was darn scary for awhile here in Washington. We prayed non-stop for the safety of the firefighters, and all the folks with animals who were displaced. All work with the horses stopped until the smoke cleared, it just wasn't safe for man nor beast. We don't DARE ask what else 2020 could throw at us!
Moving forward, the skies have cleared and the sun is out once again. As the days get shorter and the nights colder, we've received numerous requests already from folks who need help and requests for relinquishment. We were planning to attend the upcoming livestock auctions to intercept horses landing in a bad place, but instead we're able to help folks directly. How WONDERFUL to be able to do this work!
