There's just nothing like witnessing the "click". Debra came for an important date on Saturday, interested in both Mr. Handsome and our beautiful Shadow, with her trainer Sue in tow. Knowing she was looking for just the right partner, Katie graciously went through all of the training experiences she'd had with them, both she I sharing what we've learned about their characters. While we all stood there in the cold, the relationship with Shadow and Debra clicked. It's hard to express the feeling when it happens, but it's a beautiful thing. Shadow now has a new human to care for and love and we in turn believe her life is going to be blessed beyond measure.
