What does volunteering for an organization like ours look like?
CEOEW is an all volunteer organization. Our Board of Directors, Officers, Foster Homes, Outreach...every bit is volunteer. 100% of every cent donated benefits horses whether they are in our care, or need our help outside of our care. What drives us is knowing we had a successful intercept at auction, being able to help with a feed evaluation and perhaps some temporary assistance, counseling someone through, or even taking care of, the journey of humane euthanasia, how our rehoming program works and throwaways and relinquishments are placed in loving homes, organizing and hosting low cost gelding clinics...the list goes on.
There are so many facets to volunteering...perhaps you have a skill for grant writing, perhaps you are super outgoing and fundraising is your thing, perhaps you love to organize and paperwork makes you giddy, or you like to clean pens and groom horses, perhaps you like to travel and haul critters.
