Wow, what can we say other than "how in the heck do horses like this end up in the slaughter pipeline??!" Valentino, our January feedlot save, has been with Katie of Pasco Kahlotus Ranch for his professional riding evaluation since March 12th. He's shown here on day 3, with Katie out in the countryside by her ranch, wind blowing as only eastern Washington wind can, and him handling it all with alertness but not at all reactive. He is proving himself to be a very willing, tuned in to his rider kinda guy. A video of days 1, 2 and 3 can be found on our Facebook page. Valentino may very well turn into a foster fail!
