Shadow is a gorgeous, APHA registered, 13 year old grey mare.  She came to us as an Auction Intercept in October 2016.  Because of our generous supporters, we were able to outbid kill buyers who were in abundance at the sale.  It was a tough one, and we had to bid aggressively (Laura had some stink eye going on too!) but we were determined to not let this one slip through our hands and into the wrong ones!  This lovely mare has completed quarantine, gained a few pounds, and has entered training with Katie Leverett at Pasco Kahlotus Ranch.  She is doing excellent and has warmed up to us nicely!  

 

1/26/17 Update:  Shadow has been vetted and is NOT in foal.  She has had her teeth done and has a clean bill of health!  She has continued training with Katie Leverett at Pasco Kahlotus Ranch for the last 30 days.  She seems somewhat new to arena work but is learning very quickly.  Shadow is progressing beautifully in her training.  We have found that trails are definitely her forte!  This girl is gorgeous and intelligent.  She has proved to be an eager learner and trusting partner.  Shadow is current on hoof care, de-worming, and vaccines!
